Ruby and the Wild is locally owned and operated out of beautiful Butte, Montana by lifelong Montana resident and lover of all thing's nature, Jodi Archibald.
At Ruby and the Wild, we pride ourselves on providing an intimate and personalized experience for every customer. If you were lucky enough to find us (we are wild, you know), you can rest assured that your floral needs will be met, and your expectations will be fulfilled. We are so excited to meet you!
Say It With Flowers—Whatever It May Be.
As owner and lead designer, Jodi puts her heart and soul into each piece she creates. You can find her immersed in all things Ruby at all times. Jodi makes sure she and her girl gang are staying ahead- planning and executing the next event, photo shoot, installation, and wedding. Jodi describes her floral business as a “designer’s choice” studio, always using unique stems and her signature Pheasant Feather. “Designer’s choice” allows Jodi and her team to create a perfect balance of fresh stems, preserved pieces, and when available, locally sourced flowers. Her standards are high and it shows. Passionate about creating unique designs, Jodi oversees each piece crafted for her clients.
Always inspired by Montana- a hike with her husband usually turns into foraging stems for a photo shoot and collecting mossy branches for an event. These are the elements that Jodi believes makes Ruby and The Wild so special. Her passion has always remained the same…”Just Make Pretty Things”.
Meet Jodi
She's a natural florist, with a keen eye for detail, and if that’s not enough, she also holds a degree in photography. If you have received flowers from Ruby in the last two years, chances are Marissa either had a hand in it or took a photograph of it. Being raised on a farm, she is steeped in common sense and is wise beyond her years. Marissa develops and executes our social media campaigns and communicates with our local business for Pop-Up Events and Workshops. Marketing isn’t the only hat she wears well. Capturing details in each Bridal Bouquet, Arch Piece, and everyday arrangement she makes, her love for nature and creativity has been a perfect fit for our wild style designs.
When she is hiking the trails, photographing for her business, or soaking up the sunshine on her paddle board, she is surrounded by friends and bringing her zest of life and enthusiasm to all around her. Always in charge of our studio music, keeping us organized, and able to be adaptable to the ever changing day to day in our small but mighty team, we are thrilled to have her.
